Sun-Sounds is a new startup company looking for ways to expand within the Maltese and European music market. The Sun-Sounds’ idea has commenced in 2014. A dream of a person to work within the music industry, experimenting with new methods of communication and reaching out to possible clients to sell music related products online.

Sun-Sounds is made up of a small music shop located in Sliema and a studio in Swieqi. We have found ourselves being the most advanced in our online and marketing presence when compared with all other local music shops. While most of the music shops here are finding a huge struggle to compete with online shopping giants, Sun-Sounds is making its way through the market better than no other.

We are a team of people with a music background but mainly with an artistic vision in the business world. We look at this as an adventure, a fun game, a creative one allowing us to test out any of the ideas we come up with. Being innovative is our key. We strive to share our young and positive energy amongst local and foreign fans.

Sun-Sounds is mainly operated from our shop in Sliema. We do our best to make a little shop look interesting with our always-changing stock, unique items and ongoing online presence. We specialize on reaching out to musicians and giving a helping hand whenever and wherever we can. Selling local music albums, music accessories, instruments and also offering services such as instrument rentals, instrument repairs, restorations as well as music recording and film scoring.

Type of offer: Internship with us at our shop in Sliema.

​

Duties: During the internship you will get to know the methods we already established to reach out to people online, being SEOs, website updating, Social media updates, filming, photography and editing. We will be looking into and taking care of relationships with our visitors and business partners.

​

Requirements: We require students who are fluent in English. It would be valued if you also know any of the languages spoken in China… Nah, just kidding.

​
