The Proto-1 is the first electric guitar built by Manicaro Custom Guitars. It features a 2 piece mahogany body and a 3 piece maple neck. Mainly suitable for Metal, Rock n Roll and Blues. This guitar has been installed with Seymour Duncan APH-1; beautifully sounding pickups that makes it very versatile for most genres. Nevertheless the body complements its extraordinary sustain which makes it a true pleasure to play.
After tons of experimentation and knowledge gathering, the proto-1 was the first successful build that led to the discovery of a passion for Andrew Manicaro, the person behind MC Guitars. One of the only electric guitar makers on the island of Malta.
