Visit us in Sliema or message ahead. Choose between basic and solid-top steel-string acoustics, classical guitars, electro-acoustics, electric guitars, electric basses or a digital piano.

Pay one day, keep up to a week
Whatever the daily rate, you only pay it once. The instrument stays with you for up to seven full days at no additional charge; no hidden weekly tariff, no surprises.
3/
Need it longer? Same rate
Rolling into a second week? Just pay the same day rate again and you're covered for another seven days. Ideal for residencies, recording sessions and longer holidays in Malta.

How the rate works. You pay the day rate once and the instrument is yours for up to seven days. To extend into a second week, you pay the same daily rate again - that's it. A little home for music — since
2014.
Sun-Sounds opened on Blanche Huber Street in Sliema in 2014 and has been quietly running Malta's friendliest guitar rental counter ever since. Half our renters are visitors who packed light and miss having an instrument in their hands; the rest are local players who need a different guitar for a gig, a recording session or a one-off project.
Every rental guitar is owned, set up and maintained in-house by our own technicians, the same team that handles repairs and restoration on our service bench. Strings are checked, intonation is dialled in, and the action is set so the instrument plays well from the moment you unzip the gig bag.

If you're staying in Sliema, St. Julian's, Gżira, Msida or Valletta, you can walk to us. If you're further afield in Malta or Gozo, we can hold an instrument for you while you make your way over. We're a small shop with a serious workshop attached — that combination is why visiting musicians keep coming back.
