D'Angelico Excel EXL-1 Jazz Guitar | 2005

D'Angelico Excel EXL-1 Jazz Guitar | 2005

We sometimes don't like what we see taking place around us 😳. Fast development, speedy decisions taken by the ravenous appetite for money🤑. We then perhaps turn to anger, negativity, contradictions and sadness🤬. A long time ago, those aggrieved feelings where instead expressed outwards, in a most harmonious way, to create a new musical expression - JAZZ!! 😌

We shot this beautiful guitar by the scenically calm sea and the backgrounds of cranes and new upcoming developments; the New York influence reaching out its long arms around the globe. Bringing us also; D'Angelico Guitars  😀😀 - Excel EXL-1 from 2005. This Jazz Guitar is found in fantastic condition, set up to inspire its next owner, this guitar will do everything that is asked from it. Barely any marks of use and unmarked frets, this one barely shows that it has come into existence more than 15 years ago. No matter who you are in the world of Jazz, this D’Angelico is worth a serious look, drop by our shop in Sliema, or drop us a message, we will be happy to answer your questions, deliver or ship to you anywhere you are.

Here's what D'Angelico have to say about this guitar:

John D’Angelico’s original archtop design is legend, and theEXL-1 is its modern-day counterpart. True to the original in every detail, the EXL-1 features a floating pickup designed to maximize the acoustic tone of its commanding 17-inch-wide, 3-inch-deep body. Paired with a Kent Armstrong mini-humbucker, its jazz box tone is unmatched. Flame maple sides and D'Angelico's Art Deco-inspired details frame the EXL-1 with mother-of-pearl inlays on a rosewood bridge, and split-block inlays on a rosewood fingerboard - a modern classic steeped in tradition.
