This Limited Edition American Standard Stratocaster was built to commemorate Fender's 60th anniversary. Thanks to the classic combination of an Alder body with bolt-on Maple/Rosewood neck and a trio of Fender Custom Shop Fat '50s single-coil pickups, this solidbody electric guitar provides legendary Strat tone. The Vintage Sunburst finish with white pickguard provides a distinctive look too. Whether you play rock, blues, or country, you'll love the iconic vibe of this solidbody electric guitar.
 
Fender Custom Shop Fat '50s pickups provide vintage single coil tone! These pickups are one of the key ingredients for great tone. The Limited Edition American Standard Stratocaster sports three hot rod vintage inspired Custom Shop Fat 50s single-coil pickups. Normally reserved for use in Fender's Custom Shop electric guitars, these pickups contain the essence of classic Fender tone. Bright and Clear top end sparkle and snarly Midrange bite. They are dynamic and responsive as well, so you can really take advantage of all your tube amplifier has to offer just by working the guitar’s volume control.
 
The Modern C neck profile on this 60th Anniversary Limited Edition American Standard Stratocaster features a 9.5" - 14" compound radius fretboard for maximum playability. A rounder fingerboard in the first position by the nut makes for more comfortable chording, while a flatter fingerboard up high is preferable for faster leads, lower action and big string bends without fretting out. The compound radius provides the best of both worlds by transitioning seamlessly from rounder to flatter. The Modern “C” neck profile is extremely comfortable with a slim, fast shape and Medium Jumbo frets tie it all together.
