Fender Player Telecaster | 3-Color Sunburst | MIM 2022
The Telecaster was Fender's first solid-body electric, and more than seventy years on it's still the guitar a lot of players reach for when they just want something that works. Two single-coils, a three-way switch, one volume, one tone, and that bright, cutting bridge pickup that has turned up on everything from country to punk.
This Fender Player Telecaster was built at Fender's factory in Ensenada, Mexico in 2022, and it's a good example of why the Player series is so popular. The alder body is finished in 3-Color Sunburst with a white pickguard, and the maple neck has a comfortable Modern "C" profile with a pau ferro fingerboard and 22 medium jumbo frets. The Player Series Alnico 5 pickups give you the classic Tele snap on the bridge and a warmer, rounder voice on the neck, and the six-saddle string-through bridge keeps tuning and intonation steady.
It's in very good condition overall. The only thing worth pointing out is a knock on the lower right corner of the body with a small paint chip, which you can see in the photos. It doesn't affect how the guitar plays. If you're after your first proper Fender, or a dependable Tele for gigs and practice that you don't need to baby, this is a great one.
