Fender Telecaster 62" reissue w/binding | TL62b | MIJ | 90s

This is without doubt one of the most beautiful Telecaster you'd ever see out there! Here we have a killer '62 Reissue Telecaster in a classic 3-Tone SunBurst with a sweet binding all around it's body. The Telecaster originally debuted in 1959 and these early versions basically were standard Telecasters with cosmetic updates, most noticeably is the white binding. These guitars are well loved and sought after by players and are regarded as some of the very best of the rosewood-board era Fenders. This magnificent instrument was crafted in early 90s by Fender Japan and is manufactured with the highest attention to detail, an actual example of what the term "reissue" really means. 
 
Cosmetically the guitar is in quite a neat state,  ... there is one small ding at the front of the body, which is barely visible and some minor playwear you'd expect from a 30 year old guitar, but really and truly this tele looks and feel fantastic and is in excellent condition overall for its age.  
 
It has just been professionally set up and is awaiting for its next guitarist to fall in love with it. It has low action with no buzzing or dead spots and is an absolute joy to play. All guitars will arrive looking and playing great. It has been freshly stringed up with new strings, the action was adjusted and the intonation is spot on ... it plays excellent. All the electronics work flawlessly.
 
We consider this to be an early 90s, 1990-1992 model. The neck heel is stamped "TLC-62B," indicating that the neck is for a custom Telecaster, it also has a small 91' written in pencil. The body is stamped "TL62B-65". This model number appears in the 1990 catalogue, then it appears again in 1992 again. However it would then become the TL62B-70. 70 refering to the higher price point but identical specs. The bridge serial is a six digits starting with A, which is the "made in japan" stamp period for 1985~86, but in fact, especially for Telecasters, bridges with the A serial are found even until the early 90s such as this model.
