For sale is this stunning 2016 Gibson Les Paul Classic in the classic Lemon Burst finish on a plain top maple cap. This is a fantastic player from Gibson's post-2015 era, blending vintage-inspired appointments with reliable build quality and that iconic Les Paul roar; perfect for anyone seeking a no-nonsense, gig-ready instrument without flashy figured tops.

Key Features & Specs:

- Body: Solid mahogany back with a carved plain maple top (no heavy figuring/flame/quilt—just clean, straight grain that lets the beautiful Lemon Burst finish shine through with that warm, vintage yellow-to-amber fade and subtle wood character).

- Neck: Mahogany with slim-taper profile (fast, comfortable, and very playable—many prefer this over chunkier '50s shapes), bound rosewood fingerboard, classic trapezoid inlays, 22 frets, 24.75" scale.

- Pickups: Burstbucker '57 Classic (neck) and '57 Classic Plus (bridge) humbuckers; vintage PAF-style tone with warmth, clarity, growl, and excellent dynamics. (Some 2016 variants in this finish had uncovered Zebra coils for extra vintage vibe.)

- Hardware: Chrome Nashville Tune-O-Matic bridge, stopbar tailpiece, vintage-style tuners, standard 4-knob / 3-way toggle layout.

- Electronics: Traditional Gibson wiring; no coil taps or modern extras.

- Weight: 4.3Kgs (solid, non-weight-relieved construction for maximum sustain and resonance; classic Les Paul heft).

Condition: Used but excellent overall; very clean player-grade example. Only light superficial play wear, subtle picking-hand scuffs on the treble side, and typical small handling nicks. No cracks, dents, structural issues, or repairs. Frets show minimal wear with plenty of crown left, neck is straight, truss rod fine, action/setup is comfortable and low (recent professional setup), and everything works perfectly with no crackle or issues.

Extras Included:

- Original Gibson brown/red plush interior hardshell case (excellent condition—minimal exterior scuffs, solid latches/handle, and plush lining protects the guitar beautifully).

- All original paperwork

This 2016 Classic is from a sweet spot in Gibson's history; great QC, classic appointments, and that punchy midrange sustain Les Pauls are famous for. The plain top in Lemon Burst gives it a timeless, understated elegance (many players swear by plain tops for their pure tone and classic 'burst look without distracting flame). These are getting harder to find in this clean condition with the full original kit.
