Gibson Les Paul Classic Antique Heritage | 2007

This is a pre-loved 1 of 400 built Les Paul with a rare bound headstock. Definitely a unique eye catcher. With the vintage touches guitarists love. Along a beautiful, AA figured maple top, Antique Heritage Cherry finish and acclaimed '57 Classic "Patent Applied For" humbuckers, the Les Paul Classic Antique allows players to experience the power and performance of an original Les Paul.
 
This was a limited run in 2007 called 'Guitar of the Week', of which there were just 400 of this model made. Boasting a weight relieved mahogany body, it has a bound neck and headstock, as well as the Gibson Crown. The guitar is finished in a beautiful vintage two tone sunburst and comes complete with Gibson hard case. This guitar is in good condition and has some age finishing cracks giving it added mojo and slight marks and dings around the body which are slightly noticable. The guitar is in excellent condition, not much if any fretwear on it. 
 
This guitar sounds phenomenal, it has huge tone with amazing resonance and sustain and it is all due to being chambered, one of the best acoustically sounding LPs we had with us to date. It is light but that does not impact negativally the tone of the guitar at all, actually adds to it. Sounds like a heavier Les Paul you know but with more sustain. The tone is fat and warm, it just allows your fingers to do the singing. The neck is very comfortable, low action, straight neck.
 
Les Paul Classic Antique is one of the models with that Classic label (which was replaced to a blank one). These models are comprised to be of the most popular and desired features and appointments found on old Les Pauls. This one comes with a solid, single-cut body made of mahogany base and a flamed maple top. Body of this six-stringer is bound in creme binding. Heritage Cherry Sunburst finish giving that Slash look! Equipped with chrome-plated hardware. Les Paul Classic Antique sports a classic bridge section made up of a tune-o-matic bridge and stoptail bar. Classic '57 humbuckers are installed in the front. Set in mahogany and a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard.
