Gibson Les Paul Studio | 2003
Here we have a beautiful Ebony Gibson Les Paul Studio with gold hardware. It has the traditional Les Paul performance qualities, just with a "no-frills" attitude. This guitar was built in Nashville, Tennessee in 2003. It also comes along with its original hard case (which has the lock code key broken but does its job perfectly fine) and is found to be in a great structural condition.
The guitar has signs of use along it's body, it has a paint chip at the top of the headstock and some scratches along the high side pole pieces of the bridge, none of which effects the guitars playability.
Introduced more than 25 years ago as a guitar for the studio musician, the Les Paul Studio has become one of the most desired Les Pauls for its tremendous harmonic and sonic capacities, coveted by musicians from all genres of music. The body and neck are both made of Mahogany, with a Maple top and a rosewood fretboard.
The neck is carved to a slim, fast ’60s-style profile that measures .800″ deep at the 1st fret and .875″ at the 12th.
Hardware includes TonePros vintage-style tuners and the classic Les Paul Tune-o-Matic bridge and Stop Bar tailpiece combo. The pickups are a 490R with Alnico II magnet in the neck position, and a 498T with stronger Alnico V magnet in the bridge. All of which come in gold finish. The controls are pretty standard, with volume and tone controls for each pickup.
