V100 is one of the most basic V models in the ESP/LTD catalog. Along with the V-50 model, V-100 forms the beginner section of the roster. It comes with a solid and flat basswood body and bolted neck made of maple. This is the most standard combination of tonewoods for the opening class of LTD guitars and basses. V-100 is made in a standard range of color options, including Silver, Black and others. All of them are finished in gloss and are fit with black hardware. On the top, V-100 is equipped with the tune-o-matic bridge (string-through-body construction) and two Duncan Designed HB-103 pickups. Maple neck rocks the fast U contour and is topped with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard.
 
This bass if fully set up and ready to go for those of you looking for a reasonably priced instrument ,if you are into funk, rock ,jazz or metal this might be a good choice for you :-)
