Backed by more than 12 years running one of Malta's most recognized music shops, Sun-Sounds is now offering a small number of ambitious entrepreneurs across Europe the chance to start their own music shop business using our name, our supplier relationships, and our proven playbook.

Since 2014, Sun-Sounds has built a reputation for its curated mix of new and used instruments, accessories, rentals, repairs, restorations, and lessons — combined with the strongest online and marketing presence of any music shop in Malta. We know what works in this business because we've spent over a decade figuring it out ourselves, and we're ready to pass that on.

This is not a franchise. It is a straightforward training and brand license program. Brand and supplier distribution rights vary by country, so not every brand we carry in Malta will be available to you — some may already be tied up with another distributor in your region. What we teach instead is the system behind it: how we've built and kept growing a shop in a small space, how we source and curate stock, retail setup and merchandising, online and marketing strategy, and how to run the day-to-day sales, repairs, rentals, and lessons revenue streams around whichever brands are available to you locally. You also get the right to trade under the Sun-Sounds name in your own city.​

The program is a one-time fee starting from €10,000, delivered over roughly two months of hands-on training and setup support, plus a €600 yearly fee to keep using the Sun-Sounds name. After the training, you're on your own, running your shop independently, your way, under the Sun-Sounds name.​

This is for musicians, retail entrepreneurs, or anyone across Europe who wants to start a small music shop business without building the brand, supplier relationships, and playbook from scratch.

3. Sign a simple license and training agreement.

4. Complete the two-month hands-on training and setup program.
