A modern take on the tried and true Stratocaster!
Fender now calls this model the Custom Classic but many of the specs are the same. Ash body for good tone. The 25.5 inch scale one piece birdseye maple neck features a 9.5 radius maple fingerboard with medium jumbo frets and abalone dot inlays.
 
A trio of Vintage Noiseless pickups dish out great tones. The bridge is a unique affair and features a modern 2 point style baseplate but with vintage style saddles and a milled solid steel block with 5 springs loaded at the back.
 
Locking tuners keep everything rock solid. The body is finished in a gorgeous 50s style 2 tone nitro sunburst lacquer. A traditional look with the ionised pickguard giving it a hint of modern. If Custom Shop quality is what you crave this may be your guitar!
 
If you are tired of wimpy frets, this would make a great choice. The flatter radius and medium jumbo frets make bending a breeze. The Vintage Noiseless pickups work and sound great as do the electronics. This is a nice clean guitar too. It shows light playwear, pick and minor scratches. Very nice overall condition. Comes in original hardshell case with the certificate signed by Mike Eldred, custom shop manager at the time.
 
This is an incredible performer for the gigging guitarist. All of the feel and playability of a modern Fender with the looks and tone of a vintage one. A great value for the quality of materials and overall vibe.
