Fender Jazz Bass JB62 90s | Japan

Mamma Mia che bella ... another super instrument on the walls of our little Sun-Sounds Music Shop in Sliema, Malta. Here's a Candy Apple Red beauty from 1993, a '62 Reissue MIJ Fender Jazz bass to fall madly in love with. Also proud to be carrying the colours of the Maltese Flag. This one has a nice punchy tone with that thumpin sound you've been after!
 
The Bass guitar is equipped with two USA single coils, full size pots, a maple neck with a clean rosewood fingerboard, and an alder body. It has the simple standard control; 2 volumes and 1 tone. Some minor dings, dents, scuffs and scratches on the front/back of the bass, but nothing that effects its playability in any way. Of course this is to be expected from a pre-loved 27+ year old guitar.  Beautifully crafted by the fine luthiers in Fuji-Gen Japan. Some people feel that that some of these 80s / 90's Fender guitars are some of the best quality instruments that Fender has ever produced over-seas.

We just had her freshly set up with new strings and a comfy nice action. The fretboard has been cleaned and detailed, frets polished and all has been buffed up professionally. All the electronics have been tried and tested. As for playability it is in perfect shape. The neck is nice and straight set with a little relief. The rosewood fretboard is dark and clean.
