Gibson Les Paul Standard | 2008 | Ebony

This is a 2008 Gibson Les Paul Standard, in an all black sleek finish and it is found to be in great condition! Absolutely beautiful Les Paul Standard, it plays hot, low, and fast. Not so heavy in weight, weights in at 3.6Kgs. It is a perfect instrument for the all rounder guitarist: blues, jazz, rock-a-billy. The neck is in great shape, slim taper 60's feel, bound fretboard with much life still left in its frets. Body has cream binding, a maple top with a black finish that looks impeccably iconic. No major dings or dents, light finish scratches from picking, and buckle rush, chrome on hardware has been kept in good condition, it does however have a minor crack in the pickguard, jack input plastic and one of the tone knobs.  Overall, a great Les Paul guitar that keeps all the low end while saving your back! Comes along with original hard case and paper work. 
 
The Les Paul Standard has been through its share of changes since the '50s, but remains one of the world's most popular and iconic instruments. From the late '70s onward, the Standard has stayed more or less the same with just some variations in finish and hardware options.
