MC Guitars yet with another unique model. Here we present you the MC Guitars Nocturnal. The very 1st model of it's kind, with the #0001 serial. 🕷️🕷️
 
This one has a Natural Ash wood finish with open pores, a characteristic MC Guitars tend to specialize on. The Matt Black finish gives that sleek elegant look along the sharply defined horns and smaller than usual body creating an unusual shape that will sure entice anyone who sets eyes on it. The ash wood that the body is carved out of has a nice weight to it, which gives it the extraordinary sustain and solid feel.
 
The neck is a five piece with maple and mahogany having a flamed maple fretboard. Complimentary to the body finish, the neck is finished in a semi gloss transparent grey.  The stained maple fingerboard feels incredible and sounds bright giving you bright and clear defined tones.
 
MC Guitars has been around for the last 10 years and this particular model has been given all the energy of expertise, artisanship and knowledge that was gathered throughout this path of luthiery.

Sentient Neck -
The Sentient humbucker was originally designed to accompany the 7 passive Pegasus bridge pickups. It delivers a balanced, versatile tone that fits right between our iconic ’59 and Jazz model neck pickups. You’ll get pristine cleans for intricate chordal and single note runs with fluid leads under high gain. The Sentient is a very articulate vintage output pickup with great dynamic response and a wide harmonic range. It works great for low tunings in all humbucker-equipped guitars.
 
The extended range options come in a choice of a standard open-coil look or black metal humbucker cover, both in a classic passive mount that easily fits in any guitar with traditional routing. Or, we also make it in a standard active mount size with a black soapbar cover with one row of exposed poles for a modern look. Pair with the passive Nazgûl or Pegasus bridge humbuckers for a perfectly balanced metal tone.
 
Hand built in our Santa Barbara, CA factory, the Sentient uses an alnico 5 bar magnet, nickel silver bottom plate, 4-conductor lead wire for multiple wiring options, and is vacuum wax potted for squeal-free performance.
 
Pegasus Bridge -
The Pegasus was originally designed for extended range instruments. It incorporates an alnico 5 bar magnet and custom winding specs. The goal was to deliver a warm, balanced, responsive, and lush tone for progressive metal. It’s a harmonically rich pickup with a prominent midrange and a focused low end. The high resonant peak makes for a sparkly top end and an incredible “bloom” on chords in high-gain situations. The responsive and accurate pick attack ensures that you will cut through any live mix, and will have tight-tracking transients in a studio environment.
 
Because the Pegasus is a moderate output pickup, it works as well for clean tones as it does for distorted tones.
