Fender Telecaster | MIJ 1989 | w/ Rio Grande Pickups

Telecaster reissue CTL 50M, special series Telecaster from a shop order, the guitar would not be found on a catologue in this finish. Here is a very good Japanese model of that time. MADE IN JAPAN, in the famous Fuji-gen factory for Fender in 1989/90, in a sunburst finish. This model has a sen body unlike most recent models which are manufactured with bass wood or ash. Sen is now a more expensive wood type due to its high demand. 
 
It is in good general condition, having some scratches, dings and signs of a pre loved guitar, frets are slightly low, but no concerning buzz on it's low set action. This is a superb Tele from the very good Fender Japan years. Excellent sustain and resonance The Japanese maple neck is perfect having an amazing twang and feel to it! 
 
The pickups on it are an upgraded Vintage Tallboy Classic set by Rio Grande pickups giving the guitar a nice smooth, warm and nostalgic 50s  tone. The classic sound and look for 50's purists.
