Gibson ES-335 DOT Reissue | 1997

From the so called Gibson "good wood era" in the late 90s, we have received this wonderful guitar. It is safe to say it is one of the best Gibsons we played here at Sun-Sounds, it just feels like it has the perfect neck on it. The 90s was a time were the US was economically strong and Gibson was cutting no corner to earn the extra buck, and this surely reflects in the build of this guitar only great tones come out of it, it simply sings. The condition is amazing for its age. Not many marks of use, and no damages. The hard case and papers come along the guitar. Here's a true opportuinity to own a forever instrument.

Like the Les Paul, the ES-335 stands as one of Gibson's all-time most iconic models. The ES-335 is a semi-hollowbody guitar which means that it has a solid block of wood running through its center with hollow wings on either side. This construction style maintains the open tone of a hollowbody while helping to reduce feedback.

The Gibson ES-335 DOT is the cornerstone of the Gibson ES line-up. From its inaugural appearance in 1958, the Gibson ES-335 set an unmatched standard. The pearloid dot inlay rosewood fingerboard on a hand-rolled Rounded "C" mahogany neck remind players where it all started. The result is that versatile Gibson ES tone that players have craved for over 60 years.
